There has been some posts asserting how polls show Hillary winning the GE, and Obama losing
The polls that they reference make one thing very clear, there is a certain percentage of Clinton supporters who will not support the Democratic nominee unless it is Clinton

To those individuals,

You don't care about civil rights
You don't care about women's rights, and the right to choose
You don't care about the Iraq war
You don't care about social security, medicare, or healthcare

You only care about your petty illusions that you have somehow been wronged

You are your own worst enemy, but your self-destructive behavior will only hurt you, and in spite of your "Nader" like wish to destroy the party, and the country, it won't happen this time. There are enough young people who realize what is at stake, and who are NOT included in YOUR poll

and therefore reject the idea of shoving the best candidate out of the race in favor of one who will lose to McCain.

And if you cared about the issues you mention, you wouldn't be supporting Obama.

4. The future McCain voters you are talking about will be banned very soon.
And we can finally get this party started.

8. The poll I saw on CNN was within the MOE

so statistically it was a draw.

Hillary 47 McCain 45
Obama 45 McCain 45

ON edit: of course the MSM spin was that Hillary had pulled far ahead of Obama.

9. Bear this in mind: Over 90% of the Democrats who threaten not to support Obama will come around just
like when more than twice as many McCain 2000 supporters eventually came around and supported Bush, and McCain and Hillary are both attacking Obama right now, but neither McCain nor Obama are attacking Hillary, and this dynamic lends itself to a disparate comparison among the candidates.

Obama will win the same core vote that Hillary would have had a chance at winning if she had been our nominee plus he brings a lot more to the table. Does Hillary have a better chance of carrying West Virginia as compared to Obama? Yes. But Obama more than makes up for that based on his stronger chances in New Mexico, Colorado, Iowa, and Minnesota.

The polls are meaningless right now because of the few % of Hill supporters that are bitter.
