This primary sucks...
It's too long...

It's too divisive...

It's hurting the cohesion of the party...

It's a catastrophic distraction from vital world events...

And it is providing Caligula (Bush) with the political cover he needs to extricate himself from any accountability. All in all, this primary season sucks and I cannot wait until it's over. My only remaining hope for this cycle is that the person or persons responsible for making this fiasco a reality are suddenly and violently wracked by a horrendous case of explosive diarrhea. Blame who you will... I no longer give two shits.

1. Democratic party has become a joke.
All we had to do was show up and we can't even do that.

2. It's not the primary that's fracturing us--the New Deal coalition is all but dead.
Too many "progressives" support the economic status-quo.

4. This is the first Pres. election for my 19 yo to vote in
Edited on Thu May-29-08 05:06 PM by liberaldem4ever
I wanted to get him excited about the election and instead he has just tuned out. He says that it's just too negative to watch Dems beat each other up. He wants to vote for Obama for President, but he's kind of lost his enthusiasm. My 17 yo son is just so pissed off at Hillary he throws wadded up paper at her when she's on TV. Maybe things will get better after we have a nom for sure. At least all four of my sons are Dems.

Had to edit cause he turned 17 in April and I put he was still 16. He would be so mad at me.
