Stop the effin' PRESSES and sit down, kids: "McClellan Hints At Obama Support"
Scott McClellan On Obama: I'm "Intrigued" (Video)

In an interview with USA Today on Thursday, Scott McClellan declared that while he respects John McCain he is also "intrigued by Obama."

He also mentioned his interest in Obama during an ABC News interview aired Thursday evening in which he added that he had not made up his mind about whether to vote Democrat or Republican in the upcoming election.

Video HERE: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/05/29/scott-mcclellan-on-obama_n_104182.html

Here's the transcript from ABC:

MARTHA RADDATZ: What do you think of John McCain?
SCOTT McCLELLAN: Uh, I have a lot of respect and admiration for Senator McCain. Um, I, he's...
MARTHA RADDATZ: Would you like him to be President?
SCOTT McCLELLAN: He's someone that, uh, has governed from the center. Uh, I haven't made a decision, in the presidential election. Uh, I...

MARTHA RADDATZ: It's possible you could vote for a Democrat?
SCOTT McCLELLAN: I, I'm intrigued by Senator Obama's message. Uh, whether or not he can act- actually accomplish it is another thing. As I show in this book, it's a very difficult thing to try to change things in Washington. And you better have a way to do it, and you better constantly focus, focus on it.

MARTHA RADDATZ: So, you haven't made up your mind about a candidate, which means you haven't decided whether you'll vote Democrat or go Republican?

SCOTT McCLELLAN: I haven't made any decision.

3. Mark McKinnon quits as an aide to McCain
because he won't go against Obama. Respects his message too much. Strange days have found us, indeed.

4. We are looking at a realignment
As SDaemons pointed out -- we are trading our racist mouth breathers for their "I was wrong and want change" crowd.

21. Obama said. ''What would I have done? I don't know."
Oh, but he only said that to protect Kerry.

5. No, he said he hasn't decided. He mentioned qualities in both candidates.
But, hey, I'll take his vote.

6. Yep, it was a stretch, and that's why I put HuffPo's tease in quotes...
...but the fact that he would not come out and endorse McCain was another "distancing" move. I'm among the cynical crowd...I'm thinking "Where was this book in 2004, Scotty"...but if it's one more person throwing a wrench into the McCain machine, I'll take it too.

:patriot:

7. I say Congress takes McClellan out back for a word.
I would love to see this evolve into the administration being metaphorically (:hi: Agent Mike) waterboarded before Congress and then on to the Hague.

Edited on Thu May-29-08 09:16 PM by AZBlue
without any thought or consideration about it. He just said he's not sure who he's voting for - not that he's voting for Obama, although he'd be a smart man to do so!

And here's the most important part of my post for Scotty: I DON'T CARE WHO YOU VOTE FOR.

:D
