I have not lived my live as a black person on the south side of Chicago, but I am married to a Hispanic man. I know that racism and discrimination still exist. As a younger person, I think that things are changing and people are more accepting.

I think you are wrong to imply that people have a right to hate because of the way that they have been treated. Two wrongs do not make a right. The way that the church is going about it is all the wrong way. It does not make racial relations better. It just makes them worse. The church should be working to improve relations.

My husband complains how hard it is to live in this country. I tell him to quit feeling sorry for himself and realize all that he has to be thankful for. The opportunities in this country are endless. Everybody who lives here and is born her is truely lucky. Just think about the alternatives. Stop complaining and start doing. If we all did just that we wouldn't have this problem! That is CHANGE for me!
