Hillary was a Senator when ...
Dick Cheney said "Go Fuck Yourself" to Senator Leahy on the Senate Floor. Did Hillary quit the Senate? Nope. She stayed a member instead of leaving. How is this any less scandalous than what any given person might have said in Church Obama is a member of?

1. Ahem... Obama was a Senator too.
Come on, your argument is weird and makes little sense. Try something better.

2. The point is the other arguments are weird
Manufacturing fake scandals is easy. One would think the President of the Senate swearing at it's members is a reflection of the beliefs and views of the Senators as much as the statements of clergy in a church. How is Obvama responsible for the exercise of free speech by those in authority around him anymore that Clinton is?

you think Dick Cheney represents the Senate in the same way a clergyman represents his congregation? how odd.

Obama did not become a Senator until January of 2005.

13. more likely uninformed of this small specific aspect.
But in the end, the purpose of the thread is to show how silly we can be at assigning guilt through association.

That's my favorite dance of all time, and yes, that "is" what it's all about. I can't wait until I'm elderly and the shaking comes naturally. :)

The point is. The endless manufactured scandals are just silly. I don;t care what candidate they are manufactured against.

16. I agree! I'm sure Barack has many long-term friendships at the church, and
it was a grounding place for his family. It's ridiculous to blame him for what the guest pastor says.
