Husband met with his 20 idiot football friends tonight and they were on a rampage that they can't purchase bullets... and 3 of them said they heard Obama bought all the brass in the US to keep bullets from being made. I shit you not. One is a plumber who obviously can buy brass fittings... Husband explained they were morons who bought up all the ammunition in town when Obama won as FEARFUL ....IT'S CALLED SUPPLY AND DEMAND YOU RETARDS! And when the bullets get shipped to town the price will be way up because your idiotic fear! Sorry..just needed to vent about the idiots in my little town...and maybe someone will laugh...sadly.

There also is a resurgence of the idiot "militias", armed RW crazies who are "training" in camps on weekends to take over the government by force. They plan some sort of gathering in DC in the summer, and expect a million armed men to show up. Interesting to see how many the jails will hold.

I guess they are getting smart or running out of money/credit, because ammo is starting to come back to the stores again.

While I am trying to reach resolution in legal ways and appeal to the law enforcement, congress and judiciary, time might be coming for citizens, for “we the people” to seek justice and take matters in their own hands. If the Attorney Generals and district attorneys, and Federal Atorneys are not willing to prosecute Obama based on dossiers showing evidence of document forgery, perjury, massive fraud and othe crimes, based on indictments of the Citizen Grand Juries, then maybe it is time for citizen trials, maybe it is time for the citizen militias to effectuate the verdicts of those trials.

I was in a large chain sporting goods store in San Antonio yesterday and wandered through the guns/ammo/hunting section. The shelves are stocked full of every type of ammo they sell...same with pistols, rifles, and shotguns. Maybe they have an in with manufacturers? Or maybe this whole shortage thing is over? Or, maybe this is yet another right wing "story" designed to get the masses stirred up and scared.

The biggest shortages are in the most popular rifle calibers (.223/5.56x45mm, 7.62x39mm, and .308 Winchester/7.62x51mm), 9mm handgun ammunition (plus .380, .40, and .45, to a lesser extent), and in some places, .22LR.

The shortage actually began in 2005, when post-Katrina hedging (because of the illegal confiscations and faux martial law declaration) collided with Iraq War demand, but things accelerated in 2007 and 2008 over fears that an Obama/Biden administration might resurrect the "assault weapon" fraud, curtail ammunition imports a la the Clinton Administration, and/or institute new production bottlenecks such as microstamping.

Idiots aren't taking into account that since the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan the largest purchaser of bullets in the world has been using its supply.

There were stories in 2006 and 2007 of Police departments having trouble getting bullets for practice due to the fact that the US Military was purchasing so much ammunition for the two wars.

They brought back video of themselves chasing men, women and children and scaring the hell out of them with their guns. These are guys that have families and spent their time off doing this instead of taking their kids somewhere. I kept quiet as these guys are close to the edge.
