President Obama should use Benator and co.'s words against them
When he is pushing for public option health care, he and his allies should turn Benator's comment into a repeated talking point - that it's so good that the HMO guys oppose it because it's too good. Obama could sell the health plan almost on benator's admission alone.

1. I'm not sure who Benator is
but I'm appreciating more and more what a stroke of genius it was for Obama to propose a public plan as just one more option in the marketplace rather than as a replacement for the marketplace. Opponents can't really oppose it without admitting it's viability. This admission totally undercuts their talking points.

Ben Nelson is another one who has basically admitted that it would be better than the private plans.

3. Beantor is a nickname for Ben Nelson
It's a portmanteau of Ben and Senator

4. Okay, thanks for clearing that up for me.
I think Nelson has stepped squarely into President Obama's trap.

8. I badly mistated that.
I should have said that he recently popularized the idea and was talking about it before Obama was. I'm sure that if we look back there have been others over the years who had this idea.

5. What Ben Nelson and the fat cats have is too good for YOU
that's how I'd frame it.
