We should have a "Spit On A Republican" Day!

OK.

We wouldn't spit on anyone. Nobody. Anywhere.

But the way the media operates, we could have fake web sites, Twitter tweets, Facebook and MySpace screeds set up and even stuff you can download to put by the water cooler at work or the church bulletin board on some of the fake sites. In order to get the stuff, you would be advised that it's not really going to happen.

This would do a few things.

The media would lap it up, no pun intended.
Republicans would get paranoid and overreach and make asses out of themselves
Since nothing would happen, Democrats would come off as mannerly

We could have all the asshats on the cable news be foaming at the mouth about the "upcoming event". No one officially with the Democratic party would support it, so there would be that out for them.
