PS Make sure you read to the end of the HuffPo article, wacky stuff (eg "I believe in the death penalty, especially for pro-lifers, child molesters, those opposed to gay marriage, and for stupid dancing in the end zone.")

...her life or her loved ones, like the aforementioned, is stupid and get a person a lot of negative attention.

according to Wikipedia:

Feherty has had a long struggle with depression and alcoholism, which he publicly addressed in 2006. In an interview with Golf Magazine about his problems, Feherty said that his therapy for depression was instrumental with him getting off the bottle, saying that "I used alcohol to mask my inner demons".

Sounds like they're resurfaced, IMHO

What a douche latte.

He always seemed to not take himself or the game too seriously- as I think happens too much in golf. But his article goes way out of bounds. Feherty needs to be released from duty at CBS.

Several heated PMs from right wingers, calling Pelosi and Reid traitors and saying that Feherty had it correct, that they should be done away with.

That's the type of mindset that prevails in the golfing world, particularly on the websites. It can't be understated how right wing and hateful they are.

I complained to CBS. Unfortunately, I doubt Feherty's job will be impacted. This story looks like it will fade.

I do feel good about one aspect. In the past two weeks I have been ripping Feherty on the golf sites as an overrated analyst, a ridiculous apologist for Tiger Woods even when he's playing poorly.. Other posters were jumping all over me, calling him the best in the business, but some have come around after this episode.
