Anyone else watching the Senate SubCmte hearing on torture?

I have been listening while I'm cleaning the house and assumed there'd already be a thread on it.

On CSPan-3 and http://cspan.org/Watch/C-SPAN3_wm.aspx

I'll post the highpoints, and sorry I'm not certain of everyone's names....

There are, of course, a range of expert opinions, everything from "we need to nail these guys to the wall" to "we must do everything needed to keep America safe..." to "good people did bad things, we didn't prosecute Truman officials for the Japanese detentions, why start now?" But most experts agree that water boarding is, at the very least, not effective.
