Want to meet with Sen. Baucus re: Single Payer?? –AND send a free fax to….
As you may know, Baucus closed the meetings.---now all is behind closed doors once again.

eFax - Let Everyone in on Healthcare Reform

INCLUDE EVERYONE IN HEALTH CARE REFORM

Dear Senator Baucus:
At the May 12 Senate Finance committee hearing you said, "I will meet with anybody who wants to meet with me."
I want to meet with you Mr. Baucus. My phone number and e-mail address is on this fax. Please call or e-mail me with proposed meeting dates.

Not long after you made that statement, you closed the next two meetings. I want to know why there are closed meetings on this important topic. I want to know why none of the meetings of the Senate Finance Committee have included anyone speaking for the large majority of Americans who want Medicare For All, the uniquely American plan providing affordable accessible health care for every American.
We all deserve a place at the table. If you get too many requests for a meeting, then hold a hearing at a large conference cneter. And since money seems to be key to getting the attention of Congress, we'll pay admission to get in and be heard.

It is important to Americans that these discussions include all healthcare reform points of view. I was dissappointed and even angered at the contemptuous way in which single payer advocates were treated during the session on May 12th. I hope that you will accord those who advocate Medicare For All as much respect as the obviously more powerful representatives of the insurance industry.
The Majority of Americans and physicians support a national health insurance program built on the principles of Medicare For All. We may not have the money of the insurance industry, but ultimately we have the votes and we are your employer. This is an example of why we elected you - to do what is best for the public good, not to cater to the private interests of the insurance industry.

Sincerely,

1. There is no button on the page you linked to
that will allow people to send an e-Fax.

I've encountered the same problem with that site several times before.

If you go to the site via your link and click on "Campaigns", you'll find different options. Some of them work!

Check it out :hi:
