Excuse my ignorance: what does 'Education Trash Talk' mean??

From here: http://media.daum.net/foreign/others/view.html?cateid=1046&newsid=20090518112537197&p=yonhap (the website is media.daum.net, run by a company whose slogan is: "With the utmost consideration for Daum customers’ needs, we bring beneficial changes to the world." Wow).

Am I missing something? Is 'trash talk' not a solely insulting term....or is it now a compliment?

1. It means "Look at all the money we saved by firing the English translator".

4. Asiatic languages tend to be idiomatic.
"School chat" and "schoolyard talk" are fairly close concepts, so I'm guessing that this is the source of the error.

Put another way: "Yo mamma is so fat that.." is not about one's mother. It's a common school game, where trash talk is simply a ritual of bonding through competition.

But that's all just a guess.
