:eyes: I REALLY WANT Sotomayor, assuming she provides a liberal perspective and a perspective in keeping with her life experiences and upbringing. I am hopeful that she will provide the balance necessary and that she will fight for our side. If that turns out to not be the case, well... we can cross that bridge when the time comes. Maybe send her endless supplies of cigarettes or something. :hide:
That would be bad news and a broader level than whether or not you think she's "unfair" to Obama. MSNBC has been fast becoming the left-leaning counter to FOXNews, and we really ought to support that. Even if that means some of the pundits say some things we don't always agree with.
I mean, compare being upset with Rachel that she's "too strident in her anti-torture / prosecute criminals stance" with what you find on CNN or FOX. I'd take that any day.
Rachel...I generally used to like her even though she is further to the left then me. However, her tactics of using half truths to promote an ultra leftist agenda leaves me cold. There are more honest ways to go about it and she is not helping to influence debate or move Obama to the left in any positive way at all.
