The Repuke commentariat will shred (is shredding) Sotomayor. Repuke Senators will fold

collapsing in on themselves. In fact, they'll keep the huffing and puffing to a minimum. This is all sooo predictable. The repuke yammering class will hammer relentlessly on Sotomayor. They'll slam her for comments and opinions. The NRA will oppose her, but when it comes down to filibustering, forget it. Snowe and Collins? Not. A. Chance. Repukes from states with a heavy latino population? Nope. These guys want to be re-elected.

Sotomayor won't receive the strong repuke support that Ginsburg and Breyer got- the dynamic of confirmation has changed- but she'll get 4 or 5 repuke votes.

(Ginsburg passed with a vote of 96-3, Breyer with 87 votes in favor)

will get their official Homelander diapers all balled up in a confused, raucous wad packed solid with undigested felafel, while the vast majority (80%) of people who inhabit this land will just ho-hum at the right-wing tantrums. And then put Ms. Sotomayor behind the bench where she belongs in service not to some ugly totalitarian Homeland and its congenital chickenhawk whiners, but in service to justice, America and Americans.

So be it.
