We have the LUXURY of having a president who is not doing enough!

Say what? You heard me right, We have the LUXURY of having a president who is not enough!

2. Think about health care. . .we wanted a president who was going to give us health care. . .
. . .we are most likely going to get it, we are going to fight and scream at each other to determine how to do it.

That applies to many other issues as well.

3. Bull. We will "get" a minor tweak that preserves the corporate control over YOUR healthcare.
That is not what a lot of "we" wanted, or voted for.

4. A public option is not a "minor tweak," especially if...

...it is cheaper and at the same time offers more comprehensive coverage.

BTW, it IS what you voted for, since Obama advertised that exact kind of reform for the majority of his run.

8. Amen. Did you get O's e-mail about healthcare about meeting with stake holders

I.E. the INSURANCE LOBBYISTS the same damn week that drs & nurses were arrested in Congress for simply wanting representation of single payer at the hearings.

Not a peep from Obama...

Just a e-mail telling how the health insurance corporate leeches are going to give a little something (which is effectively nothing), and we are suppossed to fight for him to do it.

Gross. Disgusting. Foul.

:puke:

9. I think I understand what you're saying
that President O has inspired Americans to get in the streets and shout for what they want like never before. Is that it?

10. Sort of but more importantly. . .
. . .we are wouldn't be arguing about how to handle health care if he didn't he signal that there would be reform. Do you really think we would even be arguing over single payer with a President McCain? We would be too busy demanding that something be done.
