When the grifter's daughter "bought" a house up there, I knew momma would be settling in, too. After all, our residency requirement for elected offices here are pretty lax. She's going to do a McCain, go for the Senate or House, if not "merely" Governor. That's the same path that Johnny Mack took after marrying a nice fortune in this state. What is it about my state that attracts these Carpetbaggers and flim-flam artists?

SEATTLE -- A new poll released Tuesday shows that 39 percent of Washington state voters think Rep. Dennis Kucinich should not run for office in our state, Talking Points Memo reports.

Kucinich (D-Ohio) has floated the idea of moving to Washington state and running for Congress here because his district is likely to be eliminated when the lines are redrawn (by Republicans) while Washington is picking up a Congressional seat.

"I love the area. I love the people," Kucinich told KIRO 7's D.C. Bureau Chief Carol Han earlier this month. He also described his first visit to the Seattle area 30 years ago this way: "It felt like home. I mean, there's a lot about the people in Washington state that feels a little like Ohio."



There is a mandatory residence period for most states for getting in-state tuition rates at public universities, there ought to be one for running for any public office as well.
