This event takes place Saturday, Dec 3 at Scottsdale Bible Church. I plan on attending to see what I can do help modern day slavery.

1.  Become an abolitionist,Two children sold every minute
Please visit the link below to see how you can be come an abolitionist. The paragraph below the link comes from the news alert.

www.streetlightusa.org

Once Campaign 13 gets going in Arizona, it will move to five more states, continuing to grow until 1 million abolitionists are recruited nationwide.

Streetlight USA's mission is to eradicate child sex slavery. It has now become the largest shelter in the country for teens from ages 11-17 who have been rescued from prostitution. Funding for the shelter comes from a variety of sources, including more than 90 churches in the valley. While Streetlight USA enjoys the wide support of places of worship, Campaign 13 is reaching out beyond churches.

Each entity that signs up to run Campaign 13 for their members--schools, businesses, churches, or civic organizations--become known as Lighthouses. These Lighthouses will be the staging ground for engaging the public to learn more about the issue and provide their support.

3. I can't make any promises but here is some
information from the handouts they had on tables:

Hope that one of these is useful. Streetlight Phoenix might be the best starting point as Phoenix is leading the nation in helping secure beds and housing.
