JOHN LENNON 25th ANNIVERSARY CANDLELIGHT VIGIL
THURSDAY, December 8, 2005
Lennon’s Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star

Beginning 6PM at 1750 N. Vine Street, directly in front of the Capitol
Records Tower Building.

The free-to-the-public vigil will be held to remember and honor the
late, legendary, singer, songwriter, peace activist and Beatles member
25 years after his tragic gunshot murder on December 8, 1980 in New
York City.

Highlighting the vigil will be the placement of 25 special candles on
the sidewalk, forming a “Flaming Peace Symbol” next to Lennon’s star.
Also at the vigil, guest speakers will reflect on Lennon’s legacy, and
guest musicians will perform Lennon and Beatles songs. Including
members of PLAYING IN TRAFFIC. (www.playingintraffic.net)

Vigil participants are invited to bring flowers and candles to place
around the star.
