Guv hospitalized for several hours

(12-07) 10:17 PST SACRAMENTO -- Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger spent a few hours at UC Davis Medical Center overnight after suffering from a stomach flu and experiencing a rapid heartbeat, said spokeswoman Margita Thompson.

"His personal doctor recommended he have it checked. He went to UC Davis Medical Center at approximately midnight," she said in a statement.

Doctors determined his heart rate was normal. Schwarzenegger was kept for several hours for observation and released.

This morning, he was back at work.
