Pelosi...what is her deal???
Can somebody PLEASE explain to me what on earth happened to Nancy Pelosi. Ever since she became the Minority Leader in the House, she has gotten a little soft. I was recently disappointed at her response to my Congresman Jim McDermott omitting "God" when he led the Pledge of Allegence. I was equally disappointed with her and Tom Daschle (Mr. Uber Spineless himself!) and their response to the Monkey's State of the Union address.

This is the woman who was consider a fiery passionate liberal and now, it's as if she has become some "Stepford" Democrat. I just do not see the conviction in her voice. I know she did not support Bush's chaos into Iraq, but am I the only one to notice she has somehow lost her fire?

1. Tom Delay
kidnapped the real Pelosi and sent her to Guantanamo. What you're seeing is a cloned version controlled by a computer in Cheney's bunker.

2. I`m sorry John but I disagree
Every time I have heard her speak she is aggressive, sharp, and never misses in her responses to questioning by reporters. The Demacratic Congress has a very tough and gutsy Lady out there fighting for us in my opinion. ....Oscar

7. She should have backed McDermott

I applaud him for omitting God in the pledge. However, he should not have covered it up with excuses. He should have just stuck to his guns. Pelosi should have not turned on him like that. Face it folks, WE ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN NATION. God should be left out of it.

3. When will you get it?
Bellowing Blowhards like Dean are losers. Politics and pro-wrestling won once and failed. Politics is not a TV show or a nightclub act. Get your entertainment elsewhere.

Politics is about power. Democrats have very little now. Cry babies don't help.
Work for the horse that powers, the wagon of change follows.

6. Dean is no loser.

I beg to differ. If you have no passion or vision, than politics becomes muddled and will actually drive more people away from voting because they view both party's as no different from one another. It is especially true if your party become the token opposition in what is suppose to be a democracy. Howard Dean is the best thing to happen to the Democratic Party in a long time. Dean has the passion and the vision that the Democrats lack. The only reason he faded from the primaries was because of the constant character assassination by the mainstream media and certain people within the DNC. You better hope John Kerry can pull off a victory and makes gains in the Congress and Senate come November otherwise the Democratic Party will fade into oblivion.

You cannot beat Bush by pretending to be him. Remember the old Truman quote where he said that if a Democratic candidate pretends to be a Republican, the voter will vote for the Republican everytime. Words that are true to this very day.

4. Couldn't Disagree More
I loved her recent comment about the Kerry medal flap.

She said something to the effect that Kerry earned them and has released his medical records. All we know from Bush is that he got his teeth worked on in Alabama.

5. We need to move the electorate to the left. and they will elect liberal
politicians. Our getting liberals nominated in primaries or in positions of power in Congress doesn't by itself seem to move the electorate.
