1. IMO they do not qualify as legitimate amendments
This amendment should be added to their state constitution.

Anyone of the lineage of Prescott Bush would be inelgible to serve in any Florida elected or appointed position at any government level.

4. They are not constitutional quality amendments.
They are only state law material.

6. No referendums?
If not then change the constitution to permit ballot issues.

2. My opinion on some of them
High Speed Rail - This rail will not benefit North Florida; it would only connect Tampa, Orlando, and Miami, leaving Jacksonville, Gainesville, Pensacola and Tallahassee out to rot as we pay for it. Then of course is the fact that I don't think we'll ever have a state leglislature that will be too supportive of it anyway and all I can see coming from it is a money drain. So, I'm all for its repeal. SUPPORT

Miami-Dade/Broward slot machines - They tried passing this in 2002 (the only amendment that failed that year). What is this doing on a state constitution? This is a local issue! OPPOSE

Minimal Wage - if we increase our minimal wage to $6.15 and the surrounding states don't follow, I can picture a flood of migrants and intense competition between them and the youth like myself looking for supplimental income to get through high school and college. Bad move, OPPOSE

Fairness initiative (repealing sales tax exemptions) - why are we giving tax exemptions to ostrich feed and sky boxes when Jebbie and the state leglislature constantly complain about budget shortfalls as is? SUPPORT

----

I haven't made my mind up on the rest of them yet...
