"Kennedy questions Whalen's credentials"

Like the Stephanie Miller show says, "Republicans eating their own.". I love it.
"Republican congressional candidate Brian Kennedy is questioning the conservative credentials of political rival Mike Whalen.
Kennedy, a Bettendorf lawyer seeking the GOP nomination in Iowa's first Congressional District, says Whalen made donations to Democrats in the early 1990's and also called for a tax increase to pay for Social Security reform."

Sounds like those boys just don't play well together. Imagine one candidate saying the other isn't conservative enough. Later in the article, it goes on to say that Whalen donated $200 to Dave Nagle, a former Congressional candidate. That tells me that Whalen may ber a traitor, since Nussle wasn't representing this district at that time and yet Whalen gave to his rival. It doesn't matter, I still won't vote for Whalen.

Sound's like Kennedy is about to show another bad round of fund-raising and is just trying to get his name in the paper again (kind of like the ethics complaint he filed last time his money came up short of target).
