"The evil Liberal Agenda" LTTE I wrote
Here is a letter I wrote today and sent to 3 (DM Register, CR Gazette, and Marshalltown TR) papers here in Iowa. I used the tool on the DNC website that made this so easy (http://www.democrats.org/page/speakout/letterstoeditors). Hopefully, my letter can get published.

Democrats have been attacked for pushing an evil Liberal agenda. The Right-wing wrongly says the Liberal agenda includes banning God, killing babies, starving the military, and promoting Homosexuality.

Many Democrats repsond by saying that there is no Liberal agenda. However, that is wrong as well.

There is a liberal agenda and it is simple and there is nothing evil about it. The vast Left-Wing Conspiracy that Democrats push is to make life better for every individual in this country.

The Liberall Agenda is one of empowerment, oppurtunity, equality, and justice. It can be told in one simple phrase: "Love thy neighbor as thyself."

1. Bravo
:applause:

(I'm assuming the DMR will see it as too inflamatory to run, but I hope it makes it to print somewhere!)

2. Another useful site for LTEs
Great letter!

There is another site for media contacts that can also be used for submitting letters to many newspapers in your area. The Act of Change site:

http://capwiz.com/wa/dbq/media/

allows you to see all the newspapers in your state and to submit your letter to all the newspapers you want (six newspapers at a time).

I have used this site to submit letters to the 40 or so newspapers in Tom Latham's district, though I have no idea if any of them publish my letters. But if you go through the trouble of writing a good letter for you local paper and the DMR, you might as well shotgun it out to the rest of the state. It can't hurt.

4. I usually use GOP.com facility
Gives me a good feeling to send off an anti-gop letter from their website. Just warms me inside.

3. Good letter!
You might want to try the Quad City Times as well. www.qctimes.net in case you're interested. They have published a couple of my letters and many other letters from progressives.

6. My letter got published in the Marshalltown paper
My letter got published in the Sunday edition of the Marshalltown Times Republican. That is my first letter published and after seeing all the Rethug crud on the TR's website, I might have to write a few more. (My letter didn't make the website, some get the facts straight and support Bush letter was posted).

7. Congratulations!
Do you think you can get them to publish any anti-Latham letters? If so, I have a lot of material you can borrow from. Just let me know.

We really need to get as much Latham criticism out there as possible. People are mostly unaware how tied in he is to the Culture of Corruption in Washington.
