A huge final push from Black Hawk was the difference. Bruce wins by nearly 3 percentage points. Congrats to Bruce. On to DC!!!

2. The AP called the race, but no check mark on DMR website
All precincts are in and Bruce is ahead by just under 3%.

5. Bruce!
I watched this race for about four hours on my laptop. Watching the last four Black Hawk County precincts seal the deal was truly sweet. Congrats Bruce and Team Braley!

6. I feel bad for Bruce
I do not think Bruce will be able to stand all the bashing he is going to get. The Republicans are celebrating because they know that they have it in the bag. I am hoping Bruce wont run scarred. RICK DID AN AMAZING JOB! He had all the odds against him and yet he lost by only 3%.

9. Don't feel bad...
The candidate with the most support won the primary, and will win the general.

To be honest, I was much more concerned with a Braley-Dix matchup than Braley-Whalen....Whalen is toast.

10. Dickinson Staff?
Rick Dickinson seemed to do well considering the amount of money he had, and I have heard good things about the campaign in general. Rick had a nice website, for instance. Were there some top staff on his campaign that might be available for another campaign? Please private message me if you have some advice. Thanks.
