If you get a push poll ASK TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR!

I posted this on another thread and thought it important enough to break out. This advice per one of our local campaign staffs:

- Get as much info as you can on who authorized the call, where they are calling from etc. Then call the office of the candidate that the call was directed against and advise them of what you found out.
- Try to get the wording of the questions as best you can.
- If asked if you are a Dem, a puke or an Indepedent, you are an independent! (tough not to say Dem, but that may end the call).

Couple years ago after a particularly scurilous push poll, I waited til 10 o'clock at night and called the offending candidate at homeand just lit into him! Don't know if it did any good, but I felt better.
Probably not a recommended action
