How about a "DU DAY" at Kerry's Boston HQ
Edited on Mon May-17-04 08:34 PM by welshTerrier2
Would anyone be interested in "working the phones" at Kerry's downtown HQ in Boston on some Saturday or Sunday ??

I thought it would be cool to take over the place with DU'ers for a day ... it sounds like most of the calls are from people who agreed to donate money ...

It would certainly be interesting if DU'ers were given a chance to discuss policy with those who call ... i'm not sure that's an option though ... that would liven up the place !!

If you're interested, reply to this thread with some suggested dates ... if we get enough people, maybe we could run a poll on the best dates to get together ...

btw, the phone number for Kerry's Boston headquarters is: 617-367-1551.

1. Do any of you know anybody in Kerry's SENATE office in Beantown?
Not, I repeat not, his campaign office.

If so, please give me a pm, because I have a question for ya.

2. I've been trying to get DUers to go to Kerry fundraiser this Sun.
But I haven't been getting a whole lotta responses to my thread (here in MA forum). Does anybody read this forum anymore? Or is everyone just not interested?

3. Maybe things will pick up around convention time?
I mean, seeing how it's in Boston and all; someone will be planning some get together or be bitching about the traffic and/or commute problems.

Until then, we could post yard sale announcements or apartments for rent... just a thought.

Cute bird, btw. It looks like she's smiling for the camera.

5. Yes, it is.
Glad you'll be there; I'll be there too. I hope more DUers will be there too. I posted it in the MA forum, but haven't exactly been overwhelmed with responses.
