1. because we've got our share of wingnuts in Massachusetts
and they listen to our very own Howie Carr and he tells them what to think.

4. I think that's spillover from low poll numbers
for members of Congress in general. I have seen more than one poll that put public approval of Congress below that of the wastrel son. Not to good overall for anyone in Congress Repub or Dem.

5. Okay. I'll bite . . .
It's all in the question asked, the geographic area, and the people asked. Was it a random sampling? Read the entire polling information as presented. Not just one isolated section as you apparently did.

Overall, Kennedy scored well with those people who identified themselves as "Democrats" = with a low of 79% and a high of 88% . . . margin of error of +/- 4.8% to +/- 6%

However, this poll is flawed. There is no representation of registered voters or at the very least to inquire if those polled had voted in an off-presidential federal election as is this up-coming election this year in November. As such this poll is quite meaningless.

And, yes, Edward Moore Kennedy is VERY popular in Massachusetts. As is Kennedy in the Senate. His public service to Massachusetts and to the entire country is greatly appreciated. Time and history will indicate that Kennedy has been one of America's most important U.S. Senators. Kennedy will, once again, retain his Senate seat in this upcoming 2006 election.

6. Teddy will be fine
Is there even a Repug running against him this year? Perhaps no volunteered to be the sacrificial lamb this time.
