1. Iraq: The SpOILs of War: Whose Oil Is It Anyway?

Antonia Juhasz
Monday, January 28, 2008, 7:00 PM
St. Joan of Arc Church, 4537 3rd Ave S, Minneapolis

Antonia Juhasz is a social justice activist and a leading
international trade and economic policy
analyst. She is a Fellow at Oil Change International and a Visiting
Scholar at the Institute for Policy
Studies. Her book, The Bush Agenda: Invading the World, One Economy
at a Time, was called "Excellent!" by Amy Goodman and "essential
reading" by Congressman John Conyers. Juhasz's op-eds and articles
regularly appear in numerous publications, including The New York
Times, International Herald Tribune, and Los Angeles Times and she is
a frequent television and radio commentator.

As Big Oil begins to sign contracts in Iraq — relying on 30-years of
U.S. military protection to secure its interests — Juhasz opens a
door into the depths of the oil industry to reveal how it works,
where it wants to take us, and what we can do to stop it.
