Who wants to see state DFL convention photos?

Visit www.ProgressiveCaucus.net/photos.asp to see some them. PLEASE NOTE: most of these are from the Friday night party and the Saturday morning pre-convention meeting of the Progressive/Peace/Civil Rights Caucus. However, they're still pretty good, IMHO!

4. Cool!!! We're still moving forward!

Right now, we're working on some stuff for the platform committee (Nat'l, DNC). Plus, we're getting the charter/constitution ready for the Progressive Caucus in time for the state central committee meeting in September. The new website is up at www.progressivecaucus.net, and its being updated as we speak!

Stay tuned-- there's a lot more to come!!!

I already signed up on the website. I suppose you all meet in the Cities, but this is a project I'd really like help out with, if you've got room for me. I CAN make the drive as long as the meeting times work out with my work schedule.

6. Yeah, I see you signed up!

I just talked to dpbrown last night (and will talk to him again this afternoon) re: some other stuff, but we DEFINATELY want it to be statewide-- otherwise, what's the point? Everybody's still recovering from various convention-related activity and are starting to pull themselves together again (present company included). I'm hoping to post some news to the site or send an email within the next few days-- after the present "emergency" passes (looooong, long, story-- PM me if you want details).

I'm a good position up here in the 8th CD regarding inside DFL party politics, since I've been in it for awhile and am now a known party activist. I'd like to be able to put some of this to use in getting the "Progressive Caucus" brought to official status within the DFL.

As for your "emergency" -- I wish you the best of luck. I won't pm you for the details unless you think I could be helpful to you in some way by knowing about it. Don't hesitate to ask!
