Liberal Talk Radio In Montana -Coming soon to FM
A friend told me at a bbq yesterday that within a few weeks three channels are going to be bringing Randi Rhodes, AL Franken and a host of other liberal voices into our homes and vehicles through the FM band here in Westrn MT and beyond.

My friend has a job with them and starts this week.

They are also reporedly going to produce their own local news content to be shared by the three stations.

Sounds promising.

3. We had a rare visitor today
here in the Northern Bitterroot.

A moose wandered into our yard. Never saw one so close before. And I never saw one here where we live before. Me and my kids were peeking out the windows watching as it browsed on our lilacs, must have no more than 25ft away.

Lake Mcdonanld is awesome.

it will be to Montana. I came close about 2 years ago. If I didn't have such commitments with my nursing legislative work, I'd be there.

Did you get any pictures of the Moose? That is precious! I think Montana is Natures best kept secret!

9. Nice pics....This must be the week for moose sightings
...I saw two on US 2 between Kalispell and Libby this morning. One was an adult female and the other was fairly young. They were within a 1/4 mile of each other; I assume they were related.

Any chance that radio station will broadcast in Kalispell?

4. I don't know the call letters or frequencies, I'll have to ask my friend.
i imagine they might do some kind of ad campaign around the launch date.

14. I should have updated this. I got my original info slightly
mixed up. Three stations in the MSLA area being launched one of which is liberal talk radio.

It's on now at 105.9

They seem to have a lot of young demographic local commercials on the lib talk channel so if it makes money here, perhaps it will spread.

Sorry to get anyones hopes up needlessly.

One interesting aspect of the Msla station is they are billing themselves as the radio station with the largest full time local news production staff in the in the state. this is cool.
