We just got back from our first Kerry Canvass in Manchester.

OMG we had a blast. We met some really nice Kerry Supporters, signed some up to Volunteer and really enjoyed ourselves. They gave us cold beverages, offered us the use of thier "facilities" and even thier phones. We were both really worried we were walking into the lion's den, but even the poor misguided Bush supporters were very polite. Who knew? We both are actually looking forward to the next one.

Seriously, I'm interested in getting involved in Kerry's campaign here in NH.

I am hoping to work with ACT there, and I'm pysched to hear you had a good experience. I'm just visiting up there for 3 weeks. I'll be staying in Portsmouth, but I hope to cruise around a bit, meeting Kerry supporters and working for the cause.

I went to this website http://www.nh-democrats.org/ and went to Contact us. Sent an E-Mail asking to help. They contacted me within two days. Everyone there is really young, (of course I'm an middled aged woman so everyone looks really young to me) and incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. Most of my contact has been via E-Mail, because they are so understaffed.
I look forward to meeting you at the upcoming events.

The Kerry HQ (actually, it's the NH Democratic Coordinated Campaign and the Manchester City Democratic Committee, but that's quibbling) is located in the Vista Foods shopping center on Valley Street. It's about a block east of Gill Stadium, the home of the New Hampshire FisherCats baseball team.

So, you can help elect Kerry all day, then chiil out by watching the the Toronto Blue Jays of the future!

If you are coming from downtown ManchVegas, go south on Elm to Valley, near the Dunkin Donuts. Take a left on Valley, go past the jail (on right) and the stadium (on left). There is a small mini-mall right after the stadium, but this isn't the one you want. Go about another block and it will be on the left. The Kerry HQ is in the former Continental Academie of Hair Design storefront.
