Bomb Hits Clifton Mosque (Cincinnati)
This isn't the huge West Chester Mosque north of town, as many have thought. The bombing happened at the Mosque located in Clifton's Gaslight District.

Thankfully, there were no injuries reported.

1. I am leaving Cincy in a couple of months...
my wife secured a job near San Francisco. Cincinnati is becoming scary, despite some recent positive developments, such as Mallory becoming mayor. As you know, this is a nice area of town, big beautiful old homes. I hope more witnesses step forward, as there are only a few quiet streets that intersect Clifton Ave, someone must have seen something.

3. don't leave now...
you have already put up with the worst 7 years in the state's history,
everything's gonna change after the 2006 election, for the better !

Well atleast keep checking and come back after the 2006 elections.

Enjoy the bay area in the meantime...

4. I dunno
It may not be until 2008 before we see any improvement in Ohio. Ohio Dem leadership still doesn't have its act together and many of them have already indebted themselves to the Ohio GOP. They're off to a weak start with a very divisive leadership team. We may pick up a few token seats, but maybe we'll have better luck in 2008.

5. you are right about the leadership...
not having its act together yet, I hope the chips will have fallen and the dust settled by early Jan.

I have a lot of faith in the candidate organizations for 2006 though, everything I saw upclose and in person with their organizations gives me ample optimism.

I am just getting a really good vibe from 2006, she is just around the corner, less than a moon away :-)
