Kerry Art Auction
FOR ARTISTS The Cleveland area art community is organizing an art auction to raise money for John Kerry's presidential campaign. We are looking for artists who are willing to donate their artwork for the auction. This should be a great opportunity for local artists, galleries and businesses to gain exposure in the community and will also help advance awareness of public support for John Kerry here in Ohio. All artwork will be donated by artists and galleries nearby (Cleveland, Akron, Pittsburgh), and all proceeds will be donated to the John Kerry for President campaign.
The projected target dates for the auction are on a Saturday in the next 4-6 weeks (May 29, June 5, or June 12).
If you are willing to donate artwork for the auction, please contact me at
Beth Caldwell 10306 Runnymede Ave Cleveland OH 44125 216-441-2018 ecaldwel@kent.edu
First, I'd like to thank you in advance for your donation! Any transportable medium is welcome. Art should be either framed or ready to hang. Art must be transported to the auction site one week prior to the event to ensure enough time is allowed for inventory and other preparations. Also, artwork should be of reasonable size and weight (less than 125 lbs -- pictures no larger than 6' long x 8' high). Sculptors who wish to have their work displayed on platforms should arrange for their own platform. Following these guidelines shall help the auction function more smoothly. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!
Thank you kindly,
FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS
