The union representing more than 100,000 SBC workers has called a four-day strike to begin Friday morning, just after midnight.

A spokeswoman for the Communications Workers of America says the strike will let San Antonio-based SBC "see how seriously we are taking this."

1. Good luck to them. Good to see workers still taking a stand.

2. Hey! That's my union!
The Texas State Employees Union is affiliated with the CWA.

Too bad we are forbidden by law to strike, or I'd join 'em. I'm so glad I'm not an SBC customer anymore.
