Cornyn is going to try to strike the Sunset provision on Patriot Act
Which are the 3 cities in Texas that have a resolution against the Patriot Act? I know Austin and Dallas did it, but what's the next?

HOW did this man get into Congress? He was a terrible AG.

2. Cornyn is terrible...
but he flies on the coattails of another terrible representative of our country.

I'm the optimist that thinks if the DNC would put any money into Texas (which they won't) that we would go democratic again. But, then again, I've been told that I befriend on the liberal minded.

3. We need to write Cornyn
I'm not so optimistic about Texas going Democratic, but it can't hurt to e-mail Cornyn and Hutchison about this. I just wrote them and stressed the accountability they love so much for others, but aren't interested in, personally.

5. Christ needs Satan...
Just like Bush needs Cornyn.

Cornyn is the worst sycophant ever. Every letter I write to him is answered by the "I've already made up my mind" form letter. He should say "I've already had my mind made up by the Republican Furer."

I will gladly vote him off the friggin' island as soon as I can....

7. Cornyn Was Class of 2002
John Cronyn was one of the 2002 Republican success stories. John Cornyn, a former recipient of Enron largesse, got elected because Democrat poor Ron Kirk wasn't able to appeal to enough voters. A pity. I thought that Ron Kirk was one of the most effective mayors Dallas had since Big D was run by the "bidnessmen" before at-large voting ended.

I hate to say it, but I think the people who either voted for John Cornyn or who didn't bother to vote at all got the US Senator they deserve.

The only thing I'm grateful about concerning John Cornyn is that he doesn't seem to be as viciously effective an enemy to progressive causes as his predecessor Phil Gramm.

I'm sure he's got a good chance of ending up president some day.
