Never been before but I assume informal attire is okay?

1. About the only thing required

is clothes... I've seen it all.

Generally though, business casual to casual adorned with buttons, ribbons and other campaign paraphernalia is the usual attire.

But not in awhile (kids take up time.) I will have to agree that at all the ones that I went to everyone did wear clothes.:)
