Texas Senate District 25 has a new candidate

SD25 is currently represented by Jeff Wentworth from San Antonio and covers a good part of Austin as well. Kathi Thomas is a Democrat from Hayes County and shes running to defeat Wentworth.

I met her on Friday and I am so happy to hear that we have a Democratic candidate.

1. Looks like Dean's 50 state approach may bear fruit. At least

2. I'm just proud that we seem to be running in so many races

I know a lot of people get upset that there are primary race challenges, but folks, that's a healthy sign that our party is alive. The winner will come out a stronger candidate after the primary. Then they can go on and kick some republican ass in the general election.

Thanks to all the candidates who are stepping up to run. Good luck to them all.
