DFW- Fixing to watch the local news about those grass fires

At sunset, there was a lot of smoke in the sky and I could SMELL it.

Wish it would rain.

Everyone in north Texas, be safe and keep your hose ready

2. I just drove back through Oklahoma last night..

..it was a weird scene like something out of Dante's "Inferno". Fires on both sides of I-35. At one point I heard that 35 had been closed in both directions, by the time I arrived in the area (south of Pauls Corner) 35 was reopened. Thick smoke everywhere looking like a light fog. A wood bridge post for a metal guard was on fire as I drove past.

We sure could use some rain.

3. My mom

only lives a few miles south of Green Oaks and Pioneer, where one fo the fires was yesterday.

Across the street from one of the buildings where I work, there was a little fire yesterday. A couple of salesguys went over to look and said it was some bushes on fire near a house.

There's only more fires to come since we're so dry right now.
