On the night of March 7, Barbara Ann will be at Maria Selma's Restaurant in Houston, 1619 Richmond, and we hope you'll join us to celebrate this historic event--the first statewide election of a Democratic woman since Ann Richards, and the first ever woman to be the Democratic Party's nominee in Texas for U.S. Senate! The party gets underway at 7:00, and at 9:00 Barbara will make a speech and we'll begin the live webcast at http://www.radnofsky.com/. Bring your family and friends, and of course kids of all ages are welcome!

On election night you can email your questions, messages, or congratulations to katie.floyd@radnofsky.com. We'll thank you in our webcast and send you an Election Night greeting as well.

If you're holding a watch party, send the name of your group/precinct and location to katie.floyd@radnofsky.com, and we'll mention you in our webcast.

3. Gammage's main one will be in Austin, I suspect
but the volunteer teams in most of the cities may have their own.

Since we're working locally up till the polls close.

7. And for many of us
wrapping up the caucus paper work, tearing down the machines and delivering the ballots to the central locations to be counted, so the people at the parties get the results. In 2004 we started with signs at 5am and got home after 11pm without a party.

13. Welcome!
Don't be a stranger. This sounds like a fun event. I'm going to be in Houston on Tuesday night at a party for a friend who is in town for one night and will probably be popping in at Chris Bell's party and others. If you go to Nick Lampson's party, be sure and report back. Pictures are even better!

14. Thanks for the big grins and handshakes.
I'll try to take pictures. I hope there's a big crowd for the media, especially since Tom DoLie is spending election night at a lobbyist's house in Washington!

16. Another great big welcome here. Also, a question, could DeLay lose his
primary and what are the plans in case this happened? Hard to say, I hope he wins, but I do. He will be much easier to defeat than a new repuke.

18. No. He'll win the primary.
I'm inclined to believe, after reading this Chron article, that he will do so without a runoff.

19. I think he has way too much money in this game to lose on Tuesday.
And, a lot of people don't even realize there is a primary election happening this Tuesday. I'll be surprised if he ends up in a runoff. It will be fun to see the returns come in, though. The real fun begins Wednesday between him and Lampson.
