Be on the lookout at your precinct convention tonight

I just opened up my packet for tonight and there is at least one resolution making the rounds that I'm concerned about. It's about abortion and while it mostly talks about Dems supporting programs to help keep unwanted preganancies from happening...it also talks about encouraging girls to carry pregnancies to term and promoting a "culture of life". I kid you not...it uses that exact wording. It set off alarm bells for me and just wanted to let y'all know about it.

1. At our precinct, it's simply BYO on the resolutions...

I'm bringing at least two, and my wife is bringing at least one, so I'll keep on the lookout for this resolution and see if anyone tries to pull a fast one.

3. That stinks. I didn't have any given to me.

I printed out a bunch that were making the rounds on the internet -- all of which I liked -- and my precinct was thrilled to adopt most of them. We had fun.

4. all quiet at precinct 1167 in Fort worth. We met, we introduced

ourselves, we signed our lists, we brought no resolutions and we went off to election watch parties.
