Sick of our weak candidates

I know today is a mixed bag for DU'ers all over the state. But I'm literally going:wow: at some of our local races. Some of what I considered slam dunk races have left me going :wtf:. I mean let's get real, someone with legal-IRS-financial problems and a weak resume wins over the guy with the experience needed for the job? And the blond bimbo wannabe "Latina" wins over the guy with the brains and shoeleather who walked the district? No wonder the repukes keep slamming us in November. If we put our weakest morans on the ballot, we shouldn't be surprised that we keep losing.:banghead:

1. We're really hoping for a runoff between Borris Miles

and DINO Al Edwards (who Stephanie Miller dubbed "Squeezy McFeelPants". With 88.37% of the precincts reporting, Edwards has 49.54%. Keep your fingers crossed. Edwards must go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHD, can you round up your posse to pound the pavement for Borris?

I'm so confused, I saw signs for Borris Miles and Al Bennett throughout my precinct but quite a few didn't vote early or today. What's happening? Too much negative campaigning? Those Carole Keaton Strayhussie commercials were getting to them? WTF?

BTW, in an odd turn of events, I will chair the delegation to the SDEC for precinct 483 and serve as the next precinct chair. Call me tomorrow for details.

I'm a little disappointed in the Bell result. A LOT disappointed in the Radnofsky runoff. And those two races you mentioned.... I wholeheartedly agree too. Well, I do think the best candidate won in 107.
