Radnofsky “Twinkie Tour”

Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Barbara Ann Radnofsky stops in South Texas to showcase gifts for opponent

Houston, Texas. Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Barbara Ann Radnofsky will travel across South Texas beginning on Thursday, June 15 and will showcase a variety of gifts to her opponent at press conferences and receptions in Victoria, Refugio, Corpus Christi, Falfurrias, Mission, Brownsville.

At Radnofsky’s convention speech on Saturday, June 10, 2006, she presented a Virginia tote bag which will be given as a gift for her opponent, containing two cans of Alaskan wild salmon. The tote bag is intended as a useful item given her opponent’s recent decision to leave Texas and establish her main residence in Virginia. The Alaskan wild salmon was a thank-you from Alaskans for the vote that she cast on the transportation bill which benefited Alaska and shortchanged constituents in Texas.

Radnofsky promises several new gifts in the tote bag for her opponent, including Hostess Twinkies as mementos of the senior senator’s hostess activities for Tom DeLay and the corrupt K Street Project. Radnofsky will also discuss the efforts of South Texas veterans to obtain a needed veterans’ hospital, and present her opponent with mementos of her efforts to obstruct construction of the hospital. Radnofsky will discuss the issues Texans care about including the costs of corruption, health care, education, immigration, and veterans’ affairs.

Each event will feature a question and answer section. Media are invited to attend.

2. Congrats to BAR & her staff
Her 'gifts' for KBH are pointed and funny enough to get print space in corporate MSM!

Whoever thought up the idea should be in charge of her campaign. Way to go.

4. Hutchison's approval ratings at 53% in latest Rasmussen poll. Down 11%
since March.Barbara Ann is still down by 19% but she was down by 39% in March.

With over four months until the election maybe we could win this one and shock the country.
