Need or want an Energy Star appliance? No sales tax this weekend!

Starting Saturday & ending Monday, Memorial Day, you can buy items on the list in the article & not pay sales tax on the item, the delivery, &/or the installation! :woohoo:

1. I bought a refrigerator during this event last year. Saved a lot of money in sales tax

and I LOVE the frig. Unfortunately the appliance I need next, a new range hood is not on the list of approved items, as designated by the Lege. However there ARE energy star qualified appliances that will save electricity, just not on this list.

It is a good time to get a refrigerator, dishwasher, though

3. LOL! I got a new fridge

and of course the one I want & can afford is not in stock. But I still got it tax free. :) Just have to make the fridge I've got hang in there another week or so. :(
