Rick Perry - The General Custer of Texas Politics
http://www.statesman.com/metrostate/content/metro/kelso/05/050704.html

(sinp) Wow, 126-0: I feel sorry for Perry, the Gen. Custer of Texas politics. Actually, Custer had it easier than Perry. There must have been at least one freakin' Sioux who didn't want to fire an arrow into Custer's shorts. I'm not so sure you could say that about Big Chief Happy Hair.
(end snip)

I love Kelso. "Big Chief Happy Hair" Giggle.

1. Custer is leading Cluster in Texas
Will if he survives the attack at Austin, his own party will finish him off.

General Custer's career as a politician is over in Texas.

2. My favorite part...
126-0: Now that's a pure-D flogging. This is humiliation at its most spectacular. Let's put this in street terms. It's kinda like being a stripper, tossing your top on the floor and having all 126 guys in the front row imploring, "Puhleeze, put it back on."

First, there was roadkill. Then there was Rick Perry.

3. Rick Perry is such an idiot
One tough grandma must have had a big laugh about his public flogging. If bu$h calls himself a uniter and not a divider what would Perry call himself, since he can't even keep any of his own party behind him. Oh wait, he is a uniter just like bu$h, he's untied the repukes and Dems against him in the House against him. Ha Ha!!

(snip)
So forget about sending the U.N. into Iraq. Send Rick Perry instead. Once the Sunnis and the Shiites hear Perry, they'll stop hating each other's guts and go after him.

Wait. Never mind that suggestion. George W. Bush has already done that.

Against all odds, Perry the Great Uniter got House Democrats and Republicans to lunge for his throat instead of each other's. Now that's a peacemaker. The guy could break up a dogfight. Instead of trying to nail each other, the dogs would go for his pants.
