Thinking of volunteering for Derek Kilmer in District 26.
I think I'm in the 26th District (I'm new here). Anyhoo, Kilmer is running against Lois McMahon. She's that legistlator for Washington that made headlines by refusing to listen to a Muslim prayer at a legislative session after 9/11. She made quite the fool of herself! It was widely discussed on DU, and featured on Buzzflash. She's a right-wing nut, and needs to move on.

Anyone know anything about Kilmer? I usually donate my time during election season. This would be my first state election volunteer experience. Whaddya think?
