I can't believe how sparkly the snow is!
And with the full moon this morning, wow. Unbelievably beautiful. I was so enchanted by how pretty it looked that I didn't even get irritated (well not too much) by how crappy the plowing was when I drove the kids to school this morning. Hope everyone has a safe commute today. It's slippery (but pretty) out there.

5. Shovel? Heck, all you needed was a broom!
All light and fluffy. Nice.

2. As shoveling this morning, I wondered why diamonds are
considered so 'precious' when I had hundreds of thousands of these beautiful, sparkling, snowflakes showering down around me.

3. On mornings like this,
I don't mind getting up early and shoveling the snow. It's so peaceful, and so very beautiful! The bright moon was an added bonus!

4. I was noticing that too!
I'm now becoming familiar with the cornucopia of various snow types. Have to admit this is my favorite, even WITH the crappy driving.

9. It made for a beautiful drive to Milwaukee yesterday
The snow on the ground shimmered like huge piles of glitter. (Plenty of snow watching as we waited on the interstate for morning accidents to be cleared.)

I thought the most beautiful thing about the day was the gusting breezes that would play among the trees and lift their light blanket of snow into the air high above them in great arching veils of white.

I regret that I missed seeing the full moon shine on such beautiful snow.
