I have a few questions
I am trying to gain some additional information about Canada as I am looking into emigration. From what I understand, your country is able to actually be assured that they have had a (generally) fair election. My questions are, does there appear to be a neoconservative movement pumping a great deal of money into your country and would you have any additional resources I could find for help with the emigration issue?
Thanks,
windy252

2. My advice? Get to know Harper.
I'm terrified of the idea of my country being ruled by neocon cheerleaders, but I'm glad it's Harper.

He screws EVERYTHING up.

Read this as a small example of him:

3. I wish more people saw that picture of Harper and Bush before our election
.
.
.

With a caption sumthing like

"Vote for Harper, and look what we get as a bonus"

. . . . . . . . . . . .

Harper would not be our PM today methinks

Just noticed, and curious.

What is on Stevie-baby's lapel in almost the same exact position as El pRetzeldet's jacket?

Similarities like that bother me - right up to Stevie ending all his speeches with "God Bless Canada" - a take-off from Junior's "God Bless America"

Scary . . . .

4. What is on Stevie-baby's lapel ?
I'd be willing to bet dollars to doughnuts it's a Canadian flag pin. As you mentioned, our own sock puppet's sock puppet likes nothing more than to ape (pun intended) the mannerisms and fashions of his superiors.

5. Yes, the neocons are organizing in Canada
Because of our electoral system, and because the right wing is united in Canada, the neocons are now in control of the national government, even though they only have support of 36 per cent of voters.

Personally, I think there is a very good chance that conservatives will be in power in Canada for the next 6-10 years. we'll know within the next 12-18 months, when another election will be held.

Accordingly, if part of your immigration motivation is to get away from necons, I don't think you can seriously consider Canada to be a safe haven at this point.
