A question for DUers from Canada
I was watching Fox News last week when the big news was the terrorist plot foiled in your country. The FNC host had a woman reporter on from the Toronto Sun. I was wondering: what sort of paper is the Sun? Is it a News Corp (Murdoch) paper?

1. Sun Media belongs to Québécor Média.
They're low brow, crappy papers, for the most part.

2. Cool, thank you very much
When I saw the piece on FNC, my thoughts were that the Sun would be a Murdoch operation.

4. This sums it up; it applies to the classifieds and the content.
If you want to run the company, read the Globe and Mail.

If you want to be middle management, read the Star.

If you want to drive the forklift on the loading dock read (if that's the word) the Sun.

5. We have a similar saying on our side too.
Something like this:

The people who run the country read the Wall Street Journal.
The people who think they run the country read the New York Times.
The people who think they should run the county read the Washington Post.
The people who would like to someday run the country read the Los Angeles Times.
The people who will never run the country read the New York Post..
