California "Recall" Exit Poll (CNN)
Edited on Fri Dec-10-04 11:32 PM by RaulVB
It seems pretty good to me. Remember that "Ahnold" got 48.6% of the vote.

Exit polls work if Mitofsky is not around.

1. But, does it mean anything?
I'm inclined to believe those numbers were "corrected" to match
the tabulated votes, as we are seeing in 2004, so it may not
really mean anything. Anyone know otherwise?

The Special Election exit poll numbers are interesting.

Of the voters who "strongly approved" of the way Gray Davis was
handling his job as governor, 15% voted to replace him with
an unknown "grab bag" replacement.
:wtf:

2. Who knows the real outcome of the 2002 Recall. Lots of fishy results
then as well.

Electronic voting was alive and well back then, along with the Bush Administration being heavily invested in Schwarzenegger winning California.

4. One of those fishy things is that the polls shown here indicate
5% of liberal Democrats voted for staunch conservative Tom Mc Clintock.
