It is a very clever quote, and it's perfectly natural
for people who feel that to accept the attribution
to a famous person. Attributions can take quite a bit
of work to check. I happen to know Shakespeare's Julius
Caesar, so it didn't sound right to me when I first
heard it. It's not blank verse, for one thing, it's prose,
but Shakespeare's noble characters almost always speak
in blank verse; sometimes they even speak in rhymed
sonnets.

But if someone had attributed the saying to Caesar
himself, I probably wouldn't have objected. I'm
not well acquainted with the sources in that
case.

They don't know they voted away our Democracy and reject the reality that the 2000 and 2004 elections were stolen - without so many votes for Bush the election couldn't have stolen. The MSM supports their position. They tune into Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter, Glenbeck, on the radio and watch Fox News.

They aren't bad people and they're not our enemy. We're all Americans! They aren't in on the political coup and are victims of it - even more since they've been brainwashed.

Hey, the fact that they are showing interest shows that on some level they are threatened. If they are so confident, they would not bother looking into our forums.

During October, I worked with the MoveOn captain of the voting precinct next to mine. While we tried to recruit other volunteers, our main function was to assure that everyone sympathetic to Kerry knew about early voting. Well, I bumped into one Bushie who was outside playing with his dog when I walked by. His house wasn't on my list to knock but he still asked what I was doing. Unashamed, I told him the truth, that I was providing information about early voting. He asked if he could see a copy of the sheet I was disseminating. I showed him. It was a simple one-page print out from the Orange County Supervisor of Elections web page about early voting locations and times.

Unhappy that he hadn't caught me in a lie, he said that we shouldn't have early voting. He said that people should make the effort to go to the polls on Election Day. I disagreed, citing people who travel for a living or are homebound. Since he couldn't refute that argument, he said that, "Most people are too G.D. stupid to vote anyway, especially Kerry supporters."

Yes, that's a verbatim quote. That's what we're up against, people. Put another way, our enemies, yes, enemies, know that they can't win in a fair fight so they resort to McCarthyism and any other trick they can find to tilt the board their way. That strategy is ultimately self-defeating but the true victors often have to raise a stink before the public at large catches on.
